Please note: If your existing motor has a resistor pack attached to the 4 pins on the back it will need to be removed 

and installed onto this motor. When you transfer the resistor from the old motor to the new motor make sure you 

install it on in the same exact configuration, pin for pin. Taking a picture to have a visual comparison of the old intact 

motor before you transfer the resistor may help you install it correctly on the new motor. If you don’t transfer the 

resistor, damage it or install it wrong, the gauge will not operate correctly. The resistor is not pictured and no longer 

available, we do not include the resistor with your purchase so please handle it with care.

Please have the vehicle properly diagnosed by a mechanic before purchasing this motor. These are brand new 

production GM motors, if this motor doesn't correct your problem do not blame the motor, you have other problems 

in the vehicle. Installing these motors requires electronic knowledge working with delicate PC boards. This process 

involves removing all the pointers, once the pointers are removed the cluster will need to be be re-calibrated. This 

process should only be performed by a professional with the proper re-calibration experience and equipment. 

Digital-Dash-Solutions WILL NOT be held responsible for any damages caused directly or indirectly by the installation 

of these motors. We do not offer any technical support or instructions on the installation or calibration. If you have 

to ask for help, you shouldn't be attempting the repair yourself. These should only be installed by a qualified cluster 

repair technician. These are a direct replacement for the white or yellow colored motors.
